Special Children’s Mass

We will have the Mass for the Special Children on Saturday, March 24 at 4 p.m. in the church. We will have baptisms and first communions for special children only. Everyone is invited to attend.

Holy Thursday-Washing of the Feet

We would like to invite anyone who would like to participate in the Holy Thursday service on March 29 at 6:00 p.m. to enter your name in a raffle. We will choose 4 people from each mass to participate in the Mass of the Lord’s Supper and the Washing of the Feet. Please fill out a ticket at the Religious Article Store.

LAPD Meeting

The LAPD meeting will be on Tuesday, March 20th at 6:00 p.m. in the parish hall. Everyone is invited to attend.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for carnival setup. Please come Thursday, March 15 at 8:00 a.m. to help with the setup. We need to put up the booths, hang lights, setup the stage.

DWP and Edison Fraud Alert

Attention customers of the Department of Water and Power and Southern California Edison, it has come to our attention that people claiming to work for these companies are calling customers and threatening to disconnect their services. These companies do not call to tell you that they are terminating the services. They do not have a disconnection department and they will never ask you to pay your bills with cash cards. If you are called by these people please contact the companies directly to find the true status of your account.

English Virtus Training

English Virtus Training will take place on Sunday, March 11 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the parish school. Virtus training is a requirement for adults that serve in ministries that have contact with children such as catechists.

Carnival Entertainment Volunteers Needed

We’re looking for volunteers for the spring carnival entertainment. Do you sing, dance or are you a D.J.? We would like for you to share your talent during our carnival. Please call Leno at (323) 229-5724.

Sacramental Confessions

From now on we will be having regular sacramental confessions on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. We invite you to come and be reconciled with God.

Adoration

Come join us in Adoration. Each week from Monday through Friday we are exposing the Blessed Sacrament from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. This is a simple exposition in silence.

Information Center

The Information Center is available for any questions or problems you might have. It’s available on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Volunteers

We need volunteers from Monday through Thursday after the 8:00 a.m. Mass to clean the church.

Space Available in Kinder and Transitional Kinder

Space is available in our Kinder and Transitional Kinder (TK) classes at St. Lawrence of Brindisi School. Together in Mission

We would like to thank everyone who supports the Together in Mission Campaign. Please remember to send your monthly payment so we can reach our goal of $34, 000. Our school will receive $111,000 and in addition to that our church received $50,000 to help with the cost of our new roof. God bless everyone who contributes to Together in Mission.

If you made a pledge to Together in Mission please send your donation. If you did not make a pledge and would like to make a donation it will be greatly appreciated. Please note on an envelope that the donation is for Together in Mission. You will receive a letter by mail.

Nocturnal Adoration

Nocturnal Adoration: Gives all the opportunity to spend a night a month in the presence of God, giving praise and worship to our creator. Nocturnal Adoration is held every first Saturday of the month from 8:00 p.m.-5:30 a.m. Next meeting will be Saturday March 3, 2018.
