St. Lawrence of Brindisi

Kitchen and Puesto

Please support our Sunday Food Service programs. The Puesto helps us pay our Parish bills: lights, water, air conditioning and heat. The revenue is part of our annual budget. the kitchen supports our ministries: retreats, speakers and basic necessities. The revenue from the kitchen also supports our school budget. The Parish does not subsidize the school. your support makes a real difference as we try to improve our services to you.

Warning

There are many churches using the name Catholic but are not recognized by the Archdiocese or the Pope. They offer First Communion and other sacrament classes for a few months. These sacraments are not valid in the Roman Catholic Church. Before you register with them call the Archdiocese at (213) 637-7000 or St. Lawrence at (323) 567-1439 to confirm that they are recognized as a Roman Catholic Church.

Blessing of Religious Articles in Mass

As we look to renew ourselves in the Liturgy, there are several things that will be changing. The first: as of September 16th, we ask you that all religious items to be blessed in the Mass be placed front of the Blessed Virgin Mary statue rather than in front of the altar. Thank You.
