Fear or Faith?

On this Feast of Christ the King we see two responses to these times of tribulation, fear or faith. The first is fear. These people live in terror of how the world will end. The second response is faith. These people listen with confidence to the words of the Lord, “Stand erect; raise your heads; your redemption is at hand!” Two different responses to the same earthshaking events.  The feast of Christ the King encourages us to “stand erect and raise our head” as we confidently look forward to the Second Coming of Christ. In confidence, let us prepare with works of charity and mercy to all.
