2nd Sunday in Lent

Luke 9: 28 – 36   

Today we see Jesus revealing God’s glory as his only begotten Son. With Jesus we journey from from temptation to transfiguration – the desert to a mountaintop of glory, from death to life. Through prayer and works of charity we allow God’s grace to transform us so that all will see the goodness of God. We help others journey from their “personal desert” to the goodness of God who dwells within them.  Through us, they also learn how much God loves them.
