Mark 1: 23 Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, 24 saying, “What business do you have with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are: the Holy One of God!” 25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” 26 After throwing him into convulsions and crying out with a loud voice, the unclean spirit came out of him.

Mark 1: 21 – 28
The name of Jesus is the most powerful name in all of creation. No one controls Jesus. St. Paul writes God, “bestowed upon Him the name above every other name; at the name of Jesus every knee will bend, in heaven, on the earth and under the earth – and every tongue confess, ‘Jesus Christ is Lord.’” Exorcists have noted that when they say those words, the demon must bring the possessed person to their knees. Such is the power of this Holy Name.
