5th Sunday of Easter

 John 15: 1– 8 
“I am the true Vine; my father is the vine grower.”

The vine and branches are an ancient symbol of the relationship between the God and his people, Israel. Jesus is the vine; His Father is the vine grower. When we remain connected to the vine (though Jesus), we honor His Father. In this way, we will bear good fruit.
