26rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

Mark 9:38-43, 45, 47-48

Jesus is with the disciples in a private setting. He tells them that they must care for the “little ones who believe” in him. The term, “little ones” does not refer to children but to men and women who have listened and responded to Jesus. These are people who are growing in their newfound faith. This week, look for one person, young or old in their faith life, and reach out to them.  Look for a simple way (email, text, phone call) to strengthen their faith.   In this way we will be caring for Jesus’ “little ones.”
