Otros tuvieron que traerles comida y agua. Sin embargo, su soledad emocional fue su mayor dolor. ¿Quién se siente emocionalmente solo entre mis amigos y conocidos, en mi vecindario? Esta semana, sea el “Jesús sanador” para alguien que está solo y tiene miedo. Tu recompensa será grande en el cielo. Nuevamente, déjame decirte "Gracias" por tus oraciones. "Jesus Heals a Leper" Emotional Loneliness was their biggest Pain February 14, 2021 Mark 1: 40 – 45 In today’s Gospel, Jesus heals a leper. Lepers had to leave their home and family, their community and synagogue. Others had to bring them food and water. However, their emotional loneliness was their biggest pain. Who is emotionally lonely among my friends and acquaintances – in my neighborhood? This week, be the “healing Jesus” to someone who is alone and afraid. Your reward will be great in heaven. Again, let me say “Thank you” for your prayers. This strengthens us as the Body of Christ. Know that you remain in the daily prayers and Mass intentions of the Capuchin Friars. God bless you, Fr. Jesus’ Healing Ministry February 7, 2021 Mark 1: 29 – 39 In all the healing stories, St. Mark always shows Jesus speaking personally with each individual. There are no “massive” healings – each person is treated with dignity and respect, whether in words, a touch or both. There is literally “a personal touch” with Jesus’ healing ministry. His example must be ours, as well. This is how conversion really happens – and always through the grace of the Lord.
