St. Lawrence of  Brindisi School is a  catholic archdiocesan school   in South Los Angeles, which educates more than 300 students , from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade.
St. Lawrence of Brindisi is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Association of Catholic Education.
Since 1924, the school has served continuously to a changing population . Currently , the student body  comes  mainly from the communities near South Los Angeles and approximately  ninety percent are Latino and the rest are compound mostly by African Americans .
Since 1924, the school has been a place of faith , hope and opportunity . Today , that tradition continues with excellent teachers, students  and families committed to the success of their children . Everyone at school tries to live by the gospel message, helping  others, giving back, ministering, and being the best person they can be.  The staff and faculty of St. Lawrence of Brindisi are committed to ensuring that the students receive a quality education._ Many of our teachers has been with us at least  five years and a good number have a Masters degree and California credentials .
